Greeting Fellow Elks!

It’s already been a month, and our new officers and
house committee are settling into their roles and
working had to plan events for the lodge. There will be
fun activities for the Kentucky Derby and a taco bar for
Cinco de Mayo.

In May we will celebrate youth week by hosting our
Youth Awards on May 8th, where we will acknowledge
our Drug Awareness, Americanism and Scholarship
winners. The lodge will participate in the Memorial Day
Parade. Anyone who would like to march in the parade
is welcome. The CT State Convention will be held in
Trumbull from May 30th – June 1st. Any member who
wishes to attend is welcome to do so. More information

We celebrate our moms at the Mother’s Day Ritual on
May 18th. The Ritual will begin at 11am followed by
lunch. Tickets are available for purchase behind the
bar. Stay informed on upcoming event in the email
blasts and on our Facebook page. Even better, come to
a lodge meeting.

As our membership grows it brings various
opportunities for new ideas and opportunities for
volunteering. You can reach out to me anytime by
email or stop by and say hello when you are at the
lodge.

Promote it to others.
